1. Introduce yourself.
Haley is my name and I am a 29 year old stay-at-home mom. My husband and little girl are my pride and joy. I am currently studying marketing management. For nearly 24 years, I was obese. I changed my life when I made the decision to lose weight. I enjoy cooking, road trips with my family, and swimming.
2) What did you eat prior to Carnivore?
I've tried everything. Atkins, Nutrisystems, Weight Watchers, IF and everything else. I grew eating a lot meat, but my main source of nutrition was processed sugary junk. I mean, eat a whole Red Baron Pizza in one sitting. Wash it down with some ice cream.
Why did you first try Carnivore?
My husband and I listened to a podcast by Joe Rogan and Shawn Baker. We thought it was worth a shot since nothing else worked and I was miserable.
4) What is your personal approach to the Carnivore Diet?
I can't get rid of dairy, so I also eat chicken, beef, and pork. I eat whenever I am hungry, and until I am full. No limits. No calorie counting.
5) Tell us about the benefits you have seen since beginning your Carnivore Diet.
Carnivores have cured me of many ailments I had thought would last forever. Acid reflux, digestion issues, high blood-pressure, and diabetes are just a few. My hair looks healthier, I have less anxiety, no more joint pain and my depression is almost gone.
6) Have you noticed any negative effects of the Carnivore Diet?
Every time I go out to eat, I get funny looks and questions.
7) How do you exercise when you are on the Carnivore Diet?
I don't do any exercise other than my everyday, normal activity. I haven't seen the need to do it yet.
8) How would you advise someone who has been considering this diet but is not ready to take the plunge?
