Unbeknownst to me, I've created an enormous amount of baked keto treats. It was not my intention, but I have done a lot of low-carb or keto baked recipes. You can find a lot of delicious recipes in my Keto breads eBook if you like bread.

Everyday I receive a flood of questions, comments and emails about my Low Carb bread or gluten-free baking recipes. The Low Carb bread is extremely popular. With so many people making this recipe, it's no surprise that we get a lot questions about the ingredients and results.

This post will be regularly updated. Each time I make an update, I will send a message to our list of subscribers. The updates will include new FAQs, as well as any new keto products/stockists that become available. As I discover more recipes that need a few extra tips.

My Favourite Loaf Pans

Let's begin with the most frequently asked questions regarding the low carb recipe. You will find a lot of questions, but I'll give you some tips and links to other baking blogs that can help explain the recipe.

The Best Baking Pans For Bread

You may have noticed that I've used many loaf pans over the years. Please check the post again for the latest updates.

Here are the best baking pans for gluten-free or low carb baking.

USA Pans

Why I love the USA Pans
Aluminum Steel is used to make USA pans. The pans are light and conduct heat well. USA Pan bakeware, manufactured in the USA, is coated with Americoat PLUS, an amber silicone-based coating. It has been specially developed for durability and long-life. What I love about bakeware.

I have a few USA-made loaf pans.

  • The small loaf pan is what I use (shown below, and the bread above was baked in it).
  • Medium USA Loaf Pan. The ridged base allows for heat and air circulation.
  • Small Pullman Loaf Pan With the lid, this makes a wonderful sandwich loaf.
  • Large Pullman Loaf Pan is perfect for our Low Carb Bread Recipe (made using 1.5X the original recipe). The large loaf pan measures 25.4cm by 12.7cm by 7.6cm.

Mastercraft CrustyBake box

The MasterCraft CraggyBake Box is the original tin that many of you saw me use in old videos, and for my original Low Carb Bread Recipe.

The darker color of the steel gives the bread a more crusty base. The holes allow for air circulation. This tin is only for low carb bread and not keto bread like soul bread. The holes will allow any ingredients that aren't in a bread dough to leak out.

For my low-carb bread recipes, I use the CrustyBake because it's the largest size. Due to the size of the loaf tin, this sizing will give you a high loaf.

Silicone Loaf Pans

silicone pans are not my favorite. I like silicone spatulas and silicone moulds to protect cheesecakes that have been baked. Why?

Silicone does not conduct heat well, so it inhibits leavening in gluten-free baking. A silicone loaf will not work if the odds are against you. A silicone loaf will also not crisp or brown due to the lack of heat.

The silicone loaf pan works best for cakes of light colours, terrines or jellies.

Glass Loaf Pans

Last week, I received my first Glass Loaf Baking Pan. At this time, I have not yet personally tested them. According to my research, there seems to be mixed results and recommendations. But I've seen some fantastic results with our low-carb bread recipe in our Bread Thread.

The glass is a good heat conductor, so you can bake low carb bread or gluten-free bread. You can also use them for meat loaves, lasagnas, and keto sweet breads such as our Keto Banana Cake.

Jumbo Tin With Lid

I also love to make the low-carb bread in the jumbo loaf tin ! I make 1.5 times the amount of bread and get a large loaf.

You can also check out the Chefmade Pulman and Kitessemsu Lidded Loaf Pan. I have so many different sizes and styles. I bake according to my mood. Haha!
