People who follow a plant-based diet must adapt their diets to meet their nutritional needs.
Are you able to get enough protein with a plant-based lifestyle?
Yes, you can get enough proteins from a plant-based diet. Legumes, nuts, seeds, and grains can provide amino acids to build muscle and stay healthy. Tofu and other soy products contain all the essential amino acids that your body can't make but must obtain from food. Also, vegetables such a spinach, broccoli and kale are rich in protein. Can I eat Chicken on a Plant-Based Diet?

There are many vegan alternatives that can replace traditional meat-centric dishes. They have the same texture and flavor, however.
