The combination of little gem lettuce, briny capers and dairy-free Parmesan with a giant fried chicken fillet is irresistible.

The food is delicious and elevated. It comes from a low-key, unexpected food truck. This plant-based, chef-driven menu is bursting with seasonal staples such as sweet potato arepas with tofu cheese, topped with mild jalapeno, and marinated mushrooms that have been grilled on mesquite or pecan wood.
Citizen Eatery
Citizen Eatery's dedicated team will satisfy all of your brunching requirements with its solid, new American cuisine. Available every day of the year. The breakfast-centric menu is best enjoyed during the weekend. Breakfast is the best way to start the day, whether it's in the morning or the evening.

Since 1988, this local Hispanic-owned store and restaurant has served the community. The restaurant offers a variety of plant-based meals, such as tacos and burritos. They are flaky and buttery, and you will love them. You can get them plain or stuffed with almond or chocolate paste or make a sandwich. Some local markets sell their frosted cakes, including Wheatsville Food Co-op.
Zucchini Kill Bakery
You'll be surprised to learn that this bakery, with its unique name, makes delicious treats. The female-run, punk-rock bakery does not use wheat, soy or animal products for any of their cakes, cookies or baked doughnuts. You can even order online and have it delivered nationwide, if you are not local.
Coffee and Tea
You'll never be short of dairy-free lattes these days. You can pair your coffee with vegan food at these Austin hotspots. They offer delicious vegan breakfast, lunch and snack options.
