Where can you find vegan Girl Scout Cookies? You don't have to go into the wilderness in order to obtain a box of these delicious desserts. Six vegan Girl Scouts Cookies are currently available. Whether your local Girl Scouts will carry them depends on whether the cookies come from Little Brownie Bakers, or ABC Bakers. Here's the latest information.
Since 1917, Girl Scouts has been selling cookies. They sell more than 200 millions boxes per year. Wowzer! That's a lot cookie dough. The cookie orders are placed by Americans from late January to mid-March. Animal lovers also want to join in the annual cookie frenzy.
You're in luck. Some Girl Scout cookie varieties are vegan. There are many different cookie flavors to choose from, whether you prefer chocolate or a hint lemon. What to expect when the Girl Scouts' next season arrives.

ABC Bakers vs Little Brownie Bakers
It's important to know that Girl Scout cookies are made by two different companies, each of which offers different vegan options. ABC Bakers offers six vegan options, while Little Brownie Bakers only has one. In some areas, you will only find vegan Thin Mints. However, in other regions you can find all six options.
You can use this map to find the nearest bakery in your area. You can also find a Girl Scouts Council Finder troop that is serviced by ABC Bakers and inquire about their Digital Cookie Platform. They can ship any cookies nationwide!
Vegan Girl Scout Cookies
These Girl Scout cookies are vegan.
- Thin Mints (ABC Bakers & Little Brownie Bakers).
- Peanut Butter Patties (ABC Bakers)
- Toast-Yay! (ABC Bakers)
- Lemonades (ABC Bakers).
- Adventurefuls
- Caramel Chocolate Chip (ABC Bakers)
Thin Mints, always vegan (hurray!)
Since its creation, the beloved Thin Mint Cookie has been vegan. We're glad this crisp chocolate cookie has a hint of cool mint. It's a favorite amongst the crowd, and we love that it's vegan. You will enjoy the multi-sensory experience when you bite into Thin Mints. The cookie is crunchy and covered with mint chocolate. It takes you back in time. The Thin Mints, made from cocoa and peppermint oils, are dairy-free, but do still contain gluten.
Peanut Butter Patties (ABC Bakers)
These cookies are vegan only when they are baked by ABC Bakers. Their twins, called Tagalongs, are not vegan.
These cookies are for those who believe that chocolate and peanut butter is the perfect combination. These cookies have a crunchy, sweet and salty flavor and texture thanks to sugar, peanuts and wheat flour. With a glass or two of almond milk, you will be in peanut-butter cookie heaven.
Toast-Yay! (ABC Bakers)
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have French toast as a cookie? Thanks to the Girl Scouts you don't have to wonder anymore because Toast-Yay is here! The cookie is finally here! The shape of this cookie reminds us of French toast. It is delicious and easy to eat. This little cookie is made with wheat flour and maple syrup. It also contains cinnamon.
Lemonades
Lemonades are a great option for those who enjoy a bit of lemon flavor in their cookies. Lemon-Ups are unfortunately not vegan. These slightly sour and sweet cookies are made from wheat flour, and artificial and natural flavors give them their lemony flavor. These cookies are also shaped to look like a cross-section of lemon, which is adorable.
You should be aware that ABC Bakers and Little Brownie Bakers are the two baking companies who produce Girl Scout Cookies for different regions. The cookie formulas are different, so make sure you double-check any cookies that you buy.
Adventurefuls (ABC Bakers).
Recently, these cookies were reformulated as vegan. The brownie-inspired base cookie is topped with caramel-flavored cream and a hint sea salt. It's utterly delicious! This cookie is going to be a hit!
Caramel Chocolate Chip (ABC Bakers)
You can now enjoy the flavors of salted caramel with chocolate chips in one cookie. The cookies are made from oats and chickpeas, which makes them vegan, egg-free, dairy-free and gluten-free. These delicious little cookies are suitable for everyone!
FAQs about Vegan Girl Scout Cookies
Unfortunately, the Girl Scouts S'mores Cookie vegan version was discontinued in the year 2021. We hope that it will return one day.
Girl Scouts no longer sells these items.
This tool will help you find the local Scouts in your area. Be sure to thank them if they offer vegan food!
Yes, finally! ABC Bakers has recently veganized the Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies. They are gluten-free. If you would like to see more options, contact ABC Bakers to ask them to make more vegan and gluten free cookies.
If you are buying in person, you can purchase a single box if the Girl Scouts are selling them.
If you purchase Girl Scout Cookies through a troop or girl's link, they can be delivered to your house. Girl Scouts ship their cookies to all states in the United States including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. They also ship to military or diplomatic locations that have an APO, FPO, DPO address.
All of them. All Girl Scout Cookies are Halal and kosher certified.
Please, more vegan Girl Scout cookies!
We just have to make all girl scout cookies vegan. Send a polite message to Girl Scouts of America asking them to use vegan ingredients that are sustainable, healthy and compassionate. Also, ask that they use chocolate that's free of slavery. Maybe next year, we'll publish an article on vegan Samoas. A girl can dream, right?
Please note that the video is no longer current as many of the flavors have been discontinued.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a plant-based diet be harmful?
A lot of people have found health benefits in adopting a plantbased diet. However it is possible to become sick if you don't manage your diet properly or consult a doctor. People who transition to a more plant-based lifestyle must be aware of the importance of proper vitamin intake such as iron, B12 and omega 3 fatty acids. Inadequate nutrition can lead to nutritional deficiencies and adverse health effects. Also, a vegan/plant-based diet could result in a reduction of important sources of protein such as eggs and dairy, which can affect muscle maintenance. People who follow a plant-based diet must adapt their diets to meet their nutritional needs.
Is there a limit to how much meat you can eat on a plantbased diet?
On a plant-based diet, no meat is allowed. This lifestyle does away with all animal products like meat, fish, chicken, and eggs. Many vegan substitutes offer the same flavor without using animal products. Tofu, seitan and tempeh (fermented beans), are all examples of soy-based meats that can mimic the traditional taste of meat. Vegetarian burgers made out of black beans or quinoa come close to the taste of beef burgers. Coconut bacon strips or eggplant bacon bits, tofu mayo and veggie hot dog made with seasoned-textured soy proteins are other tasty vegan alternatives. These options can be a great option for people who are looking to move to a plantbased diet.
Can I eat meat on a plant-based diet?
Plant-based diets allow for certain foods that are not made up of animal products, such as fish, meat, and poultry. Some people who follow a plant-based diet can still eat dairy and eggs, but only in moderation. For those looking to move to a plantbased diet, there are many options. Plant-based diets are primarily based on fresh fruits and veggies, legumes like beans and lentils as well as nuts and seeds such as oatmeal, quinoa, and soy products. They also include fortified foods such as non-dairy almond milk or coconut milk.
Many grocery stores carry vegan products. Many soy-based meats, such as seitan (wheat Gluten), tempeh ("fermented soybeans"), and mock duck (made from mushrooms), can mimic traditional meat dishes' flavor and texture. You can get a vegetarian burger made from black beans and quinoa, which are very similar to beef burgers.
People who prefer plant-based meals to their carnivorous favourites will find many alternatives. Vegan substitutes include tofu mayo and coconut bacon strips; eggplant bacon bits or coconut bacon; vegetable hot dogs with seasoned texture soy protein; faux chicken strips made from wheat gluten; and veggie hot dog recipes. Although some processed forms fermented mushrooms can taste just like meat, when cooked correctly, they have significantly lower water consumption than livestock production. The best part about switching to a plantbased diet is that meat that was once consumed can be replaced by these alternatives.
Is it possible to lose weight with a plant-based diet?
Yes, a plant-based diet can help with weight loss. Eating various fruits and vegetables, legumes and nuts, seeds, whole grains, and other plant-based proteins can provide enough volume to fill you up without adding extra calories from unhealthy fats or carbohydrates. A well-rounded vegan meal plan is usually low in saturated fat and cholesterol-containing foods like red meat and processed snacks that tend to add weight instead of take it away. Research suggests that a plant diet can boost metabolism and lower obesity risk factors, like inflammation. Incorporating healthy ingredients high in fiber and stopping the intake of unhealthy sugars, starches, white bread, and pasta can also further support weight loss while still providing important vitamins and minerals the body needs to stay healthy.

How To
How do I meal prep for a plant based diet?
Preparing plant-based meals ahead of time makes cooking easy and efficient. Although it does require some planning and preparation this can be a time-saver while encouraging healthy eating habits. Prepping plant-based meals in advance makes it easier to stick to your diet, as the food is already ready when you need something healthy and delicious. Additionally, by removing the need to cook from scratch each day, there's more time available for activities such as exercise or relaxation.
Preparing plant-based meals is easy if you prioritize variety and emphasize whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, seeds, and legumes. You can get better nutrition by choosing different ingredients with different colors. For example, you could use spinach for greens, orange/red carrots for orange/reds, or brown rice to make complex carbohydrates. A balance of fiber, protein and some fats should be the aim with each meal, depending on the individual's needs.
To optimize meal prep efficiency, consider using a slow cooker or multi-cooker device; batch cooking various ingredients at once by freezing portions of cooked meals; pre-cut vegetables, so they're ready to add to recipes; portion out snacks ahead of time, or keep staples like canned beans and jarred sauces on hand for easy dinners after work.
It is possible to make meal prep for a plant-based lifestyle easy and fun by following a few steps. Start by creating a grocery list that is based on the recipes you want to prepare. You can also shop at local health food stores or farmers' markets for fresh produce and other quality products. You should also make sure you have enough time to prepare the food. These options allow for minimal effort and maximize savings. Food stays fresher longer if it's stored properly.
Plant-based meal prep allows you to eat well, no matter how busy your life may be. Individuals will most likely reach their nutritional goals sooner than they think by eliminating the guesswork involved in healthy eating.
