What can I eat instead of meat for protein?

Protein is an essential component to a healthy diet. It's available in animal- or plant-based sources. The most common plant-based sources of protein include legumes and nuts, seeds, grains, tofu and tempeh, beans and lentils, seitan, wheat gluten, and hemp seeds. A high level of antioxidants can be found in many vegetables and fruits which can offer anti-inflammatory benefits.
