The age-old question of "Is paleo the best anti-inflammatory diet?" is being posed again. Recent dietary studies and research suggest yes. Eating whole, unprocessed foods free of common allergens and inflammatory agents can support your overall health and well-being.

Paleo diets rely heavily on wild-caught fish, grassfed proteins, organic fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, and healthy fats like Omega 3 and Omega 6. C-reactive proteins are pro-inflammatory markers that can lead to certain chronic diseases. This diet reduces inflammation.

Paleo diets have eliminated many of the inflammatory foods, such as wheat products and processed meats. This makes them very effective in reducing systemic inflammation. Some even report improvements in skin clarity after adopting a regular anti-inflammatory food lifestyle like Paleo.

An individual's ability manage inflammation can be further enhanced by including light exercise in a paleo diet. The idea is to move without stressing the body too much that it begins to inflame. Exercise includes not only gym or workout sessions but also leisurely activities such as walking or yoga that keep one moving yet with little stress on the body.

A paleo diet can offer relief from intense chronic pain, whether you're looking for healthier alternatives to processed foods or want to make a lifestyle change. This combination of exercise and diet can provide powerful relief from inflammatory conditions. It also helps to maintain good health habits that will help you stay healthy for the long-term.


Paleo is there any way to eat cheese?

Sometimes, cheese temptation can be too tempting for those who aren't careful. Is Paleo okay to eat cheese? Here's the truth: There is no clear rule. However, cheese was never allowed on Paleolithic diets because of its dairy content.

If dairy-free is not a priority, then you might consider consuming moderate amounts of high quality cheese. It all depends what you eat and how you react.

Some people are extremely lactose intolerant, and they should avoid dairy products. Alternatively, moderate amounts of goat or sheep's milk byproducts can usually be tolerated by those who aren't affected by lactose intolerance but still want to stay relatively true to their paleolithic roots.

Many vegan options are available if you want to enjoy cheese more often on a paleo diet without using any cow's dairy. This allows vegans to include some cheese in their diets, without having to sacrifice their values and taste preferences.


Can I eat as many fruit as I wish on paleo diet?

You may be surprised to know that paleo doesn't allow you to eat processed snacks. Instead, the paleo diet focuses on eating whole foods, such as fruits, vegetables, meats, and nuts.

But how much fruit should you eat? Your individual nutritional needs will determine the amount of fruit you can eat. The Paleo diet does not limit the amount of fruit you can eat, but it can increase your risk for many issues such as weight gain or blood sugar changes.

For extra nutrients and fibre, we recommend eating 1-2 servings per day of fresh fruit (1/2 cup to 1 Cup depending on the fruit) or frozen/dried fruits. But no more that two tablespoons at one time. Opt for belly-filling fibre sources like apples, pears, berries, and melons, which can also be used in salads, smoothies, or as a snack with nut butter or ghee as a topping when cravings hit!

Additionally, add low-sugar options like avocados or olives, which are also high in healthy fats; these two groups will make up the bulk of your diet while excluding refined starches and high-sugar fruits.

With mindful moderation and incorporating other nutrient-dense foods, indulging in some delicious ripe fruits is possible with Paleo and encouraged! You should also enjoy your food.

How do I incorporate exercise into a paleo diet?

The key to optimal health is finding the right mix of exercise and nutrition. However, it can be difficult to attain this balance if your diet is restrictive. Because paleo excludes many food groups, including dairy, grains, and legumes, it can be tricky to navigate.

The good news: Incorporating exercise into your paleo lifestyle isn't as daunting as it would seem. You'll need to start thinking about how you can increase your movement throughout the day. It could mean walking for 10 minutes after dinner, standing up regularly if you're sitting for long periods of time.

Another route to consider is high-intensity interval training (HIIT) which involves alternating between periods of intense activity followed by short rest breaks. This type of training takes only 20 minutes and doubles-up as strength training. It works all major muscle group quickly and efficiently. HIIT exercises like burpees, squats, and jumping jacks are easy enough for beginners but complex enough for experienced exercisers too!

Do not be afraid to mix up your traditional endurance-type sports like running, biking, or swimming. These activities will burn calories and serve as walking mental health benefits in the form of stress relief and endorphin boosts (talk about multi-tasking!). These are great options for incorporating exercise into your paleo diet, while also providing healthy food choices.
