Keto Turkey Jalapeno Chili

The combination of healthy and tasty ingredients in this keto turkey Jalapeno Chili gives it the perfect amount of heat, flavor and spice. This keto turkey Jalapeno chili includes cauliflower rice, which thickens it and adds nutrition. It is a complete meal, so you don't need a side dish!

Chili has been a family favorite for many generations. Chili is delicious, filling, and warming. It can feed even the most hungry of stomachs. Chili wouldn't be chili if it wasn't full of flavors and spices!

Chili can also be tailored to suit your tastes, just like stews and soups. You can substitute ground beef or chicken for the ground turkey in our recipe if you prefer. You can add any leftover vegetables or low-carb ingredients to the recipe as long as they are seasoned generously with herbs and spices.

The warmth of chili goes beyond the temperature. Cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and jalapeno can add heat. If you want it even hotter, try adding some fresh chili or chilli flakes. While chili is delicious on its own, it is also a great accompaniment to cauliflower rice. The rice is able absorb all of the wonderful flavors. Add a sprinkle or two of cheddar cheese, and some sourcream to finish it off.

Yields three servings of Keto Turkey Jalapeno chili

The Preparation

  • Red bell pepper, chopped
  • Green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 medium jalapeno peppers, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oils
  • 12 ounce Ground Turkey
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 cup chicken broth
  • salt and pepper
  • half teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • half teaspoon onion powder
  • 14 teaspoon cayenne
  • 14 teaspoon cumin ground
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 4 ounce cauliflower rice
  • 3 tablespoons sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

The Execution

1. Prepare all ingredients. Chop the bell peppers, and slice the jalapenos.

2. Add olive oil to the pan and heat it on medium. Add the turkey to the pan once it is hot and season with pepper and salt. Allow the turkey to brown on one side.

3. Add the bell peppers, sliced jalapenos, and cook until softened.

4. Add the tomato paste and chicken broth. Add more salt and pepper to taste if you wish.

5. Stir in the cayenne pepper, cumin and paprika. Bring the chili to a rolling boil.

6. Reduce the heat so that it simmers. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cauliflower rice is soft.

7. Remove a portion and add the sourcream to the remaining chili.

8. Stir the remaining chili into the pot once the mixture is thoroughly mixed.

9. Enjoy! Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top of the burgers.
