Introduce yourself.

Olga, I am from Riga in Latvia.

2) What did you eat prior to Carnivore?

During my childhood, I ate a lot of good food. We always had fish, raw dairy products, eggs of good quality, caviar, etc.

I almost didn't eat processed foods.

Around 12 years old, I became interested in Asian philosophy, vegetarian diets and karma. After that, I nearly stopped eating meat because I thought it was bad for me. I then slowly degraded to a vegan diet. My skin was destroyed and my teeth were almost gone. Some post-acne scars are still healing from the fruitarian lifestyle. Also, I started getting fat and my hair began falling out.

Why did you first try Carnivore?

A few years ago, I had a Californian ex-vegan friend visit me. He said that I was depressed and couldn't focus because I didn't eat enough animal products. I ate meat and fish, but not enough. I then found more information and sv3rige video on youtube. It inspired me to start the carnivore lifestyle, which is similar to what I did as a child.

4) What is your personal approach to the Carnivore Diet?

When I travel I switch to a low-carb diet. With a modern lifestyle, it's difficult to be a 100% raw grass-fed carnivore. When I can get my hands on good quality, raw grass-fed dairy and meats, I don't miss out.

What are the benefits you have seen since beginning your Carnivore Diet?

My mood and mental clarity have improved dramatically since I started eating more meat, dairy and fat. Also, I became calmer. Friends have noticed and are always asking me how I am so calm. I noticed that my skin, hair and weight started to improve.

What are the negatives of a Carnivore Diet?

Carnivores are not bad for me. My parents are happy to see me eating raw meat and fermented fish that my father has prepared.

7) Do You Exercise on the Carnivore Diet? If so, how do you go about it?

I do exercise on a carnivore's diet. I am a surfer and an average surfer has to paddle 7km in one session. It is a very tough sport that requires a lot cardio. The Carnivore Diet improved my surfing and paddling performance. My recovery also improved.

What advice would you offer to someone who has been considering this diet but isn't ready to make the jump?

I suggest that you try a carnivore lifestyle but gradually switch. I wouldn't recommend a strict carnivore diet right away. It takes a long time for the body to adjust, especially if it was eating carbs.

Do you believe that Carnivore diet will be accepted by the mainstream?

Carnivore eating will become a major trend, but it may take 10-20 years or even 30. We are just at the beginning.
