1) Tell us about yourself.

Rhonda is my name. Weight issues began in my 40s but I've felt like I've struggled my whole life to maintain a certain body weight. The menopause only made things worse. I am working on my goals.

2) What did you eat prior to Carnivore?

I thought that veganism would be the solution LOL. I ate meat for the entire two years I craved it, but was ashamed to indulge. I felt terrible that I wasn't giving my body what it wanted to heal. Then, I tried keto but I didn't really have any success. I tried carnivore (ten total carbs per day) after nine months of doing that. I thought I would try carnivore just for a week, but I am now on my 17th month.

Why did you first try Carnivore?

I found out I had a problem with oxalate. With the vegan diet I always had digestive problems. I always had constipation when on keto. Carnivore is my answer to everything I was experiencing.

4) What is your personal approach to the Carnivore Diet?

I used to eat anything from the animal kingdom, but now beef makes up 99% of my daily diet. Eat when you are hungry, stop when you're full and repeat. No counting, no forced fasting and no macros.

5) What are the benefits you have seen since beginning your Carnivore Diet?

Insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome are gone, as well as bloating, menopausal symptom, sugar cravings, mid-day crashes, high blood sugar, moodiness, the need to nap. I am also no longer hungry. Even when I'm hungry, it's just a slight nudge lol. Also my neck skin tag started to fall off after month 11. Skin tags are falling off the neck. According to what I've read, they are a sign that insulin resistance is present in that region. So that was a good sign that I was healing.

6) Have you noticed any negative effects of the Carnivore Diet?

7) Do You Exercise on the Carnivore Diet? If so, how do you go about it and what are you doing?

I do a lot of walking, but not excessive exercise. I'm a hairdresser and I have to move around all day.

What advice would you offer to someone who has been considering this diet but isn't ready to make the jump?

I would suggest easing into it. My cravings were less intense as I was vegan after coming from strict keto. Try it for at least a week. The feeling I get when I eat meat is so good that I wouldn't want to lose another pound.

9) Do You Think Carnivore Diet Will Ever Be Accepted As A Mainstream Diet?

Many people have never heard about it. The results speak for themselves.
